On Foot 

The IMU sits in the heart of campus, and most downtown hotels are within a 5–10 minute walk. The Ped Mall and surrounding streets are highly walkable.

CAMBUS 

The University of Iowa's CAMBUS system operates 12 fixed routes through campus and is fare-free and open to the public. It's a convenient option if you're staying further from campus or want to get between buildings. Check routes and real-time arrivals at transportation.uiowa.edu/cambus. 

Iowa City Transit 

Iowa City Transit buses are completely free for all riders and serve the broader city, with all routes originating at the Downtown Interchange at Court Street. Download the Transit app for real-time bus locations and arrival estimates. 

Rideshare 

Uber and Lyft are available throughout Iowa City and are a convenient option for evenings or trips further from campus.
