Who can receive help from the Help Desk?


Drake Refugee Clinic's immigration help desk welcomes questions from individuals who are: 


1) unrepresented (do not have an attorney representing them) 

2) noncitizens (immigrants)

3) in the United States. 

What kind of help can I receive from the Help Desk?


Drake Refugee Clinic's immigration help desk is available to answer general questions and provide limited general information and referral services for immigration cases.  


The Help Desk unfortunately does not have the capacity to provide direct legal services of any kind.

How can I contact the Help Desk? Can I speak to someone by phone?


Does it cost money to contact the Help Desk?


No, it is completely free to contact the Help Desk for information. 

Will Drake Refugee Clinic or ALL Iowa become my attorney?


The Drake Refugee Clinic will do an initial intake to determine needs and direct you where to go for representation.
