What can we build together? Envisioning collaborations for immigration legal support and empowerment?
The roundtable will bring together stakeholders from a variety of communities, including representatives of business and local government, resettlement agencies, legal service providers, and immigrant and refugee leaders. Objectives include:
Share work across the state and region to support immigration legal needs of people who have experienced forced migration
Map the “ecosystem” of immigration legal services in Iowa
Discuss the barriers faced by legal service providers and immigrant and refugee communities
Envision actionable, scalable, and sustainable strategies to collectively address these challenges
